Keala Mason blends ancient wisdom with modern science, drawing from more than 20 years as a yoga and meditation teacher and dual master’s degrees in kinesiology and exercise science.
She first turned to yoga and meditation while navigating the pressure of an international move for college. What began as a coping strategy became a path of healing and self-discovery—one that strengthened her resilience, deepened her compassion, and reshaped her relationship with her body, mind, and spirit.
Keala has trained extensively across yoga lineages, studying with Jimmy Barkan, Evolution Yoga, and the Bikram method, as well as teachers in Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin. She is recognized as an E-RYT and YACEP with Yoga Alliance, and completed advanced mindfulness studies with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield through Sounds True, where she began integrating compassion-based awareness and accessible breathwork into her teaching.
She has taught in universities, studios, and global platforms, and has led retreats around the world. Across every setting, Keala is committed to keeping yoga and meditation accessible. Her classes are grounded, inclusive, and heart-centered, guiding students toward resilience and a deeper sense of balance.
